I like to take photos of dogs at or very near their point of view. Not always, but sometimes. It really changes the nature of what you see in the photo. So many dog photos are from above... that's one reason I love the rotating screen on my camera, because I can move my camera into strange positions/angles and still be able to see what I'm shooting without laying on the ground or putting my body somewhere impossible.
