Disneyland Cruciform

Have you ever noticed this cruciform at Disneyland? That's the Matterhorn in the background. You know, I suppose it's also holding the building/roof up, but it seems like an odd shape if that's all it's doing. I wonder if it was intentional...

Not a cross, it just represent the shape of the Matterhorn (Cervin in french or Cervino in Italian). The Matterhorn has some king of tiger tooth shape and this what you see on the top of that pillar.
